WALK SCHEDULE 

August 2010

 1st - 9:00 a.m. - Avoca Trailhead (paved & gravel trail) (Hamilton Co. Park sticker required)
          8063 Wooster Pike (US-50). Halfway between Terrace Park and Mariemont (.6 mi east of Newtown

          Road). Bring lunch.

 8th - 9:00 a.m. - Winton Woods (paved & trails) (Hamilton Co. Park sticker required)
         10245 Winton Road.  Driving south on Winton Road turn right at the park entrance (Valley View),

           then left at Winton Centre.  Meet in the large parking lot. Bring lunch

 8th - 6:30 p.m. - Embshoff Woods (Hamilton Co. Park sticker required)

         4050 Paul Road.  Follow Delhi Pike to Mt. Alverno.  Turn onto Mt. Alvero, then turn

           left onto Paul Road.  Paul Road dead ends at Embshoff Woods. Bring picnic - eat at 5:30 p.m.

15th - 9:00 a.m. - Woodland Mound (paved & trails) (Hamilton Co. Park sticker required)

          8250 Old Kellogg Road.  Take US-52 east to Eight-Mile Road. Turn left and immediately right on

            Old Kellogg to the park entrance.  Meet at Seasongood Pavilion.  Bring lunch

22nd - 9:00 a.m. - Rabbit Hash, KY (paved)

             Take I-75 south to the Union exit (exit 181).  Follow US-42 west to Union.  Turn right on KY-536
             (Mt. Zion Road) and drive 11 miles to junction with KY-338.  Follow Rabbit Hash sign 1 mile
             down steep hill.  Meet in the vicinity of the General Store. Bring lunch. 

22nd - 6:30 p.m. - Mariemont (paved)

           From US-50 east turn right at light on Miami Road.  Park on street.  Eat 5:30 p.m. - walk 6:30 p.m.

29th - 9:00 a.m. - Mt. Airy Forest (paved & trails)

            5083 Colerain Avenue. On entering park turn left to 1st parking lot on the right.
            Park near the Tree House.  Bring lunch
